🌶️We had a fantastic Neurospicy Minds for Women’s Group session this evening 🌶️
It was lovely to welcome some new Neurospicy women alongside many familiar faces. A huge thank you to Tanika from Rayleigh Neurodivergence, Maggie from STRM - SEND the Right Message Registered Charity and everyone who joined us.
Tonight we talked honestly about the realities of being neurodivergent adults parenting neurodivergent children 👩👧👦✨
We shared the things that have helped, the things we've learned the hard way, the challenges we still face, and the importance of giving ourselves a break and showing ourselves the same compassion we so freely give to others 🧡
There were lots of laughs, a few moments of reflection, and plenty of reminders that none of us are doing this alone 🌶️🤝

🌶️ My advice. Move away from competitive parenting. It doesn't look the same for every family, and that's okay.
