MEMBERSHIP (FREE)

  • Available to families living in Castle Point, Rochford and Southend
  • Delivered through our Early Intervention Pathway, including appointments, workshops and online support.
  • Delivered by a team of SEND parents and carers with lived experience, DBS-checked and trauma-informed

Who can register

  • Families living in Castle Point, Rochford and Southend
  • Parents and carers of children and young people (0–25) who may need extra support
  • No diagnosis required

Families outside these areas can still access our open support across Essex

Registering helps you:

  • Connect with other families who understand
  • Feel more confident navigating education, health and SEND systems
  • Access practical tools, community events and activities
  • Get support with financial well-being and cost of living

Included as part of membership

  • Peer-to-Peer SEND Support Sessions: Monthly sessions in community locations and online
  • Workshops and guidance:Helping families understand neurodivergence and navigate education, health and SEND systems
  • Financial well-being, energy and cost of living support
  • Guidance and support with DLA, PIP and Carer’s Allowance
  • Household Support Fund (when available and funding allows)
  • Foodbank and fuel bank referrals
  • Priority Services Register (PSR)

STRM Bouldering Club – Members Only

Weekly term-time bouldering at Indirock, Southend, exclusively for registered STRM members aged 6–17 with diagnosed, suspected or self-identified SEND.

Wednesdays during term time

Ages 6–11: 4:30–5:15pm
Ages 12–17: 5:15–6:00pm

 

10 funded places are available in each group. Parents/carers stay and supervise their child during the session.

New to STRM Bouldering? An induction is required before joining the weekly club.
