STRM – SEND the Right Message works in partnership with local authorities, health systems, voluntary and community organisations, and funders to reduce inequality and improve outcomes for disabled and neurodivergent children, young people, adults, and their families.
Our partnerships reflect STRM’s role as a trusted, community-led organisation, rooted in lived experience and early intervention. We bring together families, services, and communities to ensure support is accessible, timely, and shaped by the people it affects.
We work collaboratively across education, health, social care, and the VCSE sector to deliver practical support, influence systems, and amplify the voices of families who are too often unheard.
We work with statutory partners across health, education, and local government to improve access to support, strengthen early intervention, and address inequality for disabled and neurodivergent families.
This includes collaboration with:
Local authorities
NHS services and Integrated Care Systems
Schools and education providers
Family hubs and public health services
STRM works closely with voluntary, community, and grassroots organisations to deliver peer-led, trauma-aware, and accessible support.
These partnerships enable us to:
Reach families who may not engage with statutory services
Provide culturally and socially inclusive support
Deliver joint projects, community events, and group programmes
Strengthen local networks and reduce duplication
By working collaboratively across the VCSE sector, we help build resilient, connected communities where families feel understood, supported, and less alone.
STRM – SEND the Right Message is part of a range of national partnerships and membership bodies that support good practice, accountability, and learning across the disability, neurodivergence, and voluntary sector.
We are grateful to the trusts, foundations, and funders who enable STRM to deliver free and low-cost support to families experiencing financial pressure, systemic barriers, and inequality.
